REDSP-07 Cemon Victa - Chains Of Life

After quite a string of singles and EPs (and the fine experimental excursion as Boris & Uskovic earlier this year) it’s time for Cemon Victa’s very first album. The quality production and versatile sound of “Chains Of Life” stands proof that the wait has paid off well. Dance floor-friendly throughout, featuring a bunch of their trademark melodic tracks, yet also delivering the goods to the rougher and speedier customers, this is an offer the hardcore-minded can’t refuse!

Charged melodic floor fillers are of course what you expect from Cemon Victa, and here they are – “Night Fall”, “Gold Diggers”, the faster “Subculture” or “Wanted” convince with their rousing melodic core and energetic beats. But also lots of diversion is to be found: The album opener “Doomed”, sounds (hence the title) as if it could well be on the Traumatic record label, “Tenebrae” shows that Cemon Victa have also recently flirted with industrial hardcore and “On Your Side” has a surprising techno sound with a minimal hook line. Popular collaborators (The Vinyl Junk and Darkcontroller) and remixers (T-Junction & Rudeboy) add more tonalities.

Cemon Victa have produced an album of quality that will help you shake of the chains of life… for a while.
